My Name is Cynthia!
I'm just a New York City girl from the Lower East Side with dreams of owning and running a successful business. The idea of being a business owner goes back to my childhood. I remember having this feeling that I was meant to do something great. I still believe it and you should too!
Everything started back in 2020. It was a year that forced everyone to spend more time at home. There were less visits to the restaurants, parks, malls, movies everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. During this time I made a decision to find a way to be productive with my time. The thought about candle making had crossed my mind in the past, but this time I was going to make it more than just a thought. I began researching and testing...and more testing to find the best materials that would allow me to create a safe and amazing product. Anyone who knows me knows I go all out or I go home. As a candle maker the process of testing candles is extremely important and I take it very seriously. I continuously worked to develop the best formula for each candle. Testing different vessels, wicks, fragrance oils to create the best candles. I want to provide a product that has been given much thought and considering my amazing customers who support my dream. During this time I started my candle business as, Sierra Dazzling Candle Co. The business did well but for personal reasons I hung up my gloves after about 1.5 years.
In 2024, there was a tugging at my heart to pick up my business and run with it. This time it was going to be different. I prayed that it was not just a relaunching and rebranding but a total makeover because this time it wasn't about me. It was about something greater. It is about creating an amazing product but also leaving a legacy for my daughter. I relaunched and rebranded under, Luz Di Vita....Light of Life. I wanted the business to have purpose. It was about reminding others that there is always hope even when it all seems lost. We all have journeys that we travel. We are far from perfect but that doesn't mean that you don't add value to this world. So I have been learning to let go and LET GOD! In every good and bad situation my hope is that you know that there is light in your darkness. There is calm in your storm. You are never alone. You matter. Your past does not dictate your present and much less your future. There is good that comes out of every negative situation if we can seek the Luz Di Vita.
