Hi, I’m Cynthia – Founder of Luz Di Vita, “Light of Life.”
Born and raised in the heart of New York City’s Lower East Side, I’ve always carried a dream of building something meaningful—something that reflects passion, purpose, and legacy. From a young age, I knew I was meant to do something great, and today, I’m turning that childhood dream into reality.
My journey began in 2020, during a time when the world paused. Like many, I was spending more time at home, and I made a choice: to be intentional with my time and pursue something that had been on my heart—candle making. What started as curiosity turned into a commitment. I dove into research and endless testing, determined to create candles that were not only beautifully crafted but also safe, clean-burning, and high-quality. That’s how my first brand, Sierra Dazzling Candle Co., was born.
After a brief pause in my business, I felt a powerful pull in 2024 to start again—this time with deeper purpose. I prayed that this wouldn’t just be a rebrand, but a rebirth. And that’s exactly what happened. Luz Di Vita—meaning Light of Life—was created not just as a candle brand, but as a symbol of hope, healing, and legacy.
This brand is for those who need a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is always light. It’s for anyone searching for peace in chaos, beauty in brokenness, and hope in the waiting. Each candle is handcrafted with care, love, and intention—to bring warmth, light, and inspiration into your space.
